Stay up to date with MMR Vaccination
28 March @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
As you may be aware, Birmingham and the West Midlands are experiencing a Measles outbreak. In response to this, Birmingham City Council’s Public Health Behavioural Science team has put together a short training session on measles, the MMR immunisation, and the best ways to facilitate conversations around the topic.
This training is aimed at staff members of local organisations to provide up to date information and the skills to have supportive discussions around measles and MMR with members of the public.
BCC have partnered with DOR to deliver this training to community organisations in the area – our aim is to engage with as many communities as possible to ensure Birmingham citizens are well informed on the MMR immunisation, and the dangers of contracting measles.
This session will be around 45 minutes long – 30 minutes of training and 15 minutes for questions and discussion.
