DESCRIPTION:Cartea de Vineri: IRL event with Marius Turda\, in conversation with the Roma Project and DOR – Romanian Diaspora communities. \n\n\n\n\nCartea de Vineri — Special Edition\nJoin us this Friday for a special Cartea de Vineri edition as we welcome Marius Turda\, author of În căutarea românului perfect\, a powerful and thought-provoking exploration of science\, identity\, nationhood\, and the historical construction of the “ideal” Romanian. \nIn conversation\, Marius will take us behind the book: examining how ideas about race\, biology\, and belonging have shaped modern Romania\, reflecting on their legacies today\, and opening a wider dialogue about identity\, ethics\, and historical responsibility. \nThis is a dual-purpose event\, bringing together literature\, history\, and community dialogue. It will take place in person\, with possible live access to the interview segment (to be confirmed). \nThe afternoon brings together:\n📚 Author conversation & interview\n✍️ Creative writing and reflection workshop\n🤝 Community mixer & open dialogue \nWhether you come to listen\, question\, write\, or connect\, this is a rare opportunity to engage deeply with history\, ideas\, and community — and to create together in an open\, welcoming space. \nThis event is part of our Cartea de Vineri in-person series\, supported by the National Lottery Community Fund. \nAll are welcome.
