Cartea de Vineri — Special Edition
Join us this Friday for a special Cartea de Vineri edition as we welcome Marius Turda, author of În căutarea românului perfect, a powerful and thought-provoking exploration of science, identity, nationhood, and the historical construction of the “ideal” Romanian.
In conversation, Marius will take us behind the book: examining how ideas about race, biology, and belonging have shaped modern Romania, reflecting on their legacies today, and opening a wider dialogue about identity, ethics, and historical responsibility.
This is a dual-purpose event, bringing together literature, history, and community dialogue. It will take place in person, with possible live access to the interview segment (to be confirmed).
